Endodontology (also known as endodontics) is the study of the inside of the tooth. As a dentist in Friedrichshain specializing in endodontics, we therefore primarily treat our patients for diseases of the pulp-dentin complex. “Pulp” refers to the soft interior of the tooth, which is also called the dental nerve or dental pulp and runs from the crown of the tooth to the tip of the root. “Dentin” is the name of the tooth bone surrounding the pulp. Diseases in this area can be caused, for example, by inflammation of the dental nerve following severe tooth decay or as a result of a dental accident. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

In this way, even highly curved root canals can be optimally cleaned and the result promises many years of satisfaction. As root canal treatment with a microscope requires special technical equipment and the necessary training and experience on the part of the dentist performing the treatment, only selected practices currently offer this service.
